Exiting Apps

If you are using an Android device, refer to the documentation for your device for information on terminating background apps; the procedure varies with the device.

Follow the steps below to terminate a background app in iOS.

Devices with Home Buttons
If your iOS device is equipped with a Home button, double-click the Home button and swipe up to dismiss the app.
Devices Without Home Buttons
If your iOS device is not equipped with a Home button, swipe slowly up from the bottom of the screen to open the multi-tasking window, then swipe up on the app preview to dismiss the app.
