The Tab: Connecting to and Controlling Cameras Remotely

Adjust settings for connecting to the camera from your smart device. You can also download pictures from the camera to the smart device or use the smart device to control the camera remotely.

The Tab: Viewing Pictures

View, delete, or share the pictures downloaded from the camera.

The Tab: NIKON IMAGE SPACE

Connect to NIKON IMAGE SPACE, a cloud storage service for users who have signed up for a Nikon ID and downloaded the dedicated app.

The App Menu: Notifications, Help, and App Settings

View notices, access on-line help, or use App options to choose such settings as the smart device nickname or whether to add credits or hashtags to pictures.

App options

Select the nickname used to identify the smart device on cameras with which it is paired or choose whether to add credits or hashtags to pictures. You can also sign up for a Nikon ID for the camera to which the smart device is connected, edit existing account information, view the License Agreement, or display the Nikon support website in a web browser.

#SnapBridge

Launch the Instagram app (if installed). If the app is not installed, this option instead opens Instagram in a web browser. You can view any public posts shared with all users under the “SnapBridge” hashtag.

App Options

Destination

Choose the destination for pictures downloaded from the camera.

Nickname

View the smart device nickname. If the device is currently connected to a digital camera with interchangeable lenses, you can also change the device nickname.

Show credits

Create or edit photo credits and choose whether to add them to pictures downloaded from the camera.

Add hashtag

Automatically add hashtags in the text entry field when sharing pictures.

Nikon ID sign up/edit profile

Sign up for a Nikon ID or edit an existing member profile.

Display the Nikon support website in a web browser.
